 Insurance and Fees

For therapy and treatment-oriented evaluations, I am in-network with the major insurers listed at the bottom of this page. For individuals out of network services, my fees are anchored to the 2019 Medicare rates for the services I provide. Said another way, if you are uninsured or if I am out of network, I am content to collect Medicare’s dictated rate as fee-for-service or “out of pocket.”

Please note that some insurers do not cover psychoeducational evaluations (e.g., for Attention-Deficit / Hyperactivity Disorder [ADHD] or a learning disorder). In those cases, the insurer has deemed them “not medically necessary” and thus not a covered service. This is outside my control, but I work with patients and examinees to investigate insurance coverage and eligibility before accruing fees. For a self-guided investigation into your coverage, download my insurance cheat sheet.

Psychovocational and aptitude testing is, to my knowledge, never covered by health insurance.

Similarly, forensic neuropsychological and psychological evaluations are ineligible to be covered by health insurance.

Please contact me to inquire about your coverage or if you would like a copy of my fee schedule.
