Pre-Surgical Clearance

Certain surgical procedures require that patients first undergo testing by a licensed psychologist or other qualified mental health professional. The components of the assessment vary somewhat between providers, and also vary depending on the procedure being considered. A typical assessment requires an examination lasting about half of one day, with test scoring, interpretation, and report-writing completed in the days following.
